Obituary
STAMFORD – Steven Anker Gullestad, 67, of Stamford, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2026, surrounded by his family members and the loving hands of a Hospice nurse.
Steve was a bus driver for many years at Jefferson Central School. He loved to read and alk about the love of God in his life.
Steve is survived by his wife, Synthia (LaRocque) Gullestad; daughter, Lisa and Bobby Joe German; son, Steven Jr. and Carrie Gullestad; brother, John Gullestad; grandchildren Izaak and Abbygail German, Tegen and Aden Murphy and Vanessa Gullestad: nieces Amanda, Sammie, Erin Gullestad and Christie Pietrantoni.
He was predeceased by his sister Debbie Mattice and Shannon Gullestad
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Jefferson.
