[1938–2026]
Patricia Bellows Moran, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, surrounded by her son, daughter-in-law, and daughter.
She was born in the Catskill Mountains of New York. In the late 1960s, Patricia and her husband, Robert, along with their three children and beloved dog Snoopy, made the journey from New York to Florida, where they established their home in Orange City. Bob and Pat lived there for over 50 years, building a life rooted in family, friendship, and community.
After Robert’s passing, Patricia moved to DeLeon Springs to live with her son and daughter-in-law.
Patricia worked as a medical secretary and was an avid bowler and shuffleboard player. She served as president of the Orange City Shuffleboard Club for several years, where she was known as both a skilled and competitive player. A passionate advocate for the game, she enthusiastically encouraged anyone who would listen to give it a try.
Patricia loved her family and friends deeply. Her distinctive “Bellows” sense of humor and unwavering love will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her son, Theodore Moran; daughter-in-law, Michele Moran; daughter, Kelly Moran; son-in-law, Gilford Poe; and grandson, Jacob Poe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moran; her son, James Moran; and her parents, Frieda and Marion Bellows.
A private celebration of life will be held in Florida, with a graveside ceremony in New York, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Robert and son James.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice in Orange City, Florida, either online through their donation portal or by contacting the Fund Development Office at 800-272-2717.
