Inmate Arrested for Alleged Criminal Mischief

DELHI — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of an incarcerated individual at the Delaware County Correctional Facility on charges of criminal mischief. 

On April 7th, Investigators with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division were notified by Correctional Facility Staff that an incarcerated individual had caused damage to property within the facility. The subsequent investigation into the complaint revealed that 24-year-old Deanna R. Eignor had caused damage to property valued at over 250.00 dollars while she was incarcerated within the correctional facility.  

On April 21st, 2026, at the conclusion of the investigation, Investigators arrested Eignor on one count of Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, a class E felony, in violation of the NYS Penal Law. 

Eignor was arraigned on the current charge at the Delaware County Centralized Arraignment Court. Due to being held on previous charges, Eignor was returned to the custody of the Correctional Facility.
