Criminal Contempt Arrest in Hancock
DELHI — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of a Hancock man on Criminal Contempt charges.
On April 8th, Sheriff’s Deputies were notified by staff at the Delaware County Correctional Facility that 38-year-old James Procak, an incarcerated individual at the Correctional Facility had been calling and sending messages to a protected person who is listed on an order of protection that was previously served to Procak.
On April 15th, Deputies arrested and charged Procak with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Procak continues to be held in the Delaware County Correctional Facility and was issued an appearance returnable to the Delhi Town Court at a later date.
