LAWYERSVILLE — Members of BSA Troop 56 of Lawyersville won the Golden Snowshoe at the 2026 Leatherstocking Council Klondike Derby held on February 28th at Unadilla Rod & Gun Club in Unadilla, New York.

Scouts competed at multiple stations against other troops where they tested their outdoor skills in winter themed stations. Stations included Axe Throwing, Geocaching, Fire Starting, Cross Cut Saw, Agility Tests, Ladder Building, Rope Work, BB Gun Shooting, Water Purification and making a Bear Bag.
