ARKVILLE — Writers in the Mountains and Union Grove Distillery present Random Context, a monthly series of literary open mic evenings. Join us to listen to local writers read their poems, prose, a scene from a play, any works in progress. All are invited to step up to the mic for 5 minutes or so and read in the cozy Tasting Room, with craft spirits and beer brewed onsite. Come early to sign up to read, or just to settle in and have dinner choosing from the fresh and delicious menu at the Mexican food truck. Hang with the convivial expert staff and friends and neighbors, in a relaxed space to read out loud, listen, and laugh by the flicker of the fireplace. 

One Thursday each month, 6 to 8 p.m., with time to linger afterwards for food, cocktails, and a range of NA options, and visiting. Launching for the first night on Thursday May 7! Check our websites for the date each month ongoing.
