MARGARETVILLE — Margaretville Central School is pleased to announce its upcoming registration event for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) and Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year.
Families are invited to attend registration on Thursday, May 7, 2026, and take the first step in joining a welcoming and supportive school community. The district offers full-day programs designed to provide young learners with a strong foundation for future success.
Children are eligible for UPK if they turn 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026, and for Kindergarten if they turn 5 years old by that date.
“Our goal is to create a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where our youngest learners feel excited to come to school each day,” said Joy Holden. “These early years are so important, and we are committed to partnering with families to ensure each child builds confidence, develops a love of learning, and feels a strong sense of belonging from the very start. We look forward to welcoming new students and families into our school community.”
To complete registration, families should be prepared to provide the required documentation, including a birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency, and any completed registration forms.
Families interested in registering their child are encouraged to call 845-586-2647 ext. 1004 or email kbalcom@margaretvillecs.org for more information.
