American Chestnut: History, Blight, Recovery
On Friday, April 24, at 1:00 PM, SUNY Cobleskill emeritus instructor Chris Cash will lead a session focused on the American Chestnut. The program will cover the history of the species, the impact of the blight that devastated its population, and ongoing recovery efforts.
2026 Annual Spring Hawk Watch & Hawk Identification Workshop
Nature instructor George Steele will host a bird of prey workshop on Saturday, April 25, starting at 10:00 AM. This annual event is designed to help participants identify various hawk species during the spring migration.
