Simply put, life has always been made up of a sequence of crossings that involve our choices, decisions, unrealized occurrences and matters that will require our attention whether we like it or not.

KInd of a “ready or not” game of life…on occasion. If we’re lucky enough to be involved in the choices that are presented to us, then we feel more of a commitment to the eventual outcome of the matter.

These concepts are what has made up the second book that I have endeavored to create.

Here’s a look at the back cover…

Bridges… connecting then to now

By Pat Larsen

Some bridges are built of weathered wood and quiet intention,

arched gently over the moving waters of time.

We cross them without always noticing—

from who we were

to who we are still becoming.

They hold our yesterdays with grace,

carry our todays with courage,

and lead us, step by careful step,

into whatever comes next.

Not all crossings are easy.

Some ask us to pause midway,

to look back…

to look ahead…

and to trust the path beneath our feet.

But every bridge, no matter how humble,

reminds us of this—

we are always in motion,

always connecting,

always becoming.

I am presently in the final stages of organizing my thoughts for this book. I’m excited to bring this to my readership as my second effort to present “WE” Baby Boomers as they should be remembered.

I’m hoping for a mid Spring roll out…I look forward to and value your opinions and hope to bring some book signings and “readings” to your groups across our great Hudson Valley counties by this summer.
