SCHOHARIE — The Old Stone Fort Museum is pleased to announce its reopening for the 2026 season on May 1.
From May 1 through October 31, the museum will be open to the public on a regular seasonal schedule. Visitors are invited to explore the museum’s exhibits, historic collections, and grounds throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
The museum will be open Friday through Tuesday during the 2026 season. On weekdays, operating hours will be 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on weekends, the museum will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The museum will be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Guests can also look forward to a full season of programming and special events. The tentative 2026 schedule of events is now available and will continue to be updated throughout the season. To view upcoming events, visit our website theoldstonefort.org.
