ROXBURY — Friends of Roxbury (FOR) will be hosting our very popular Soup & Sip event on Saturday evening, February 21st. 

This year, maybe because of the polar vortex we seem to be locked into, we thought we'd try something a little different. We will hold Soup and Sip at one venue so that people will not have to brave the ice, snow, and sub-zero temps to participate.

Peg and the Mark Project have graciously agreed to let us use Kirkside Manor, the perfect place to host Soup and Sip, with its large spaces and many rooms for guests to wander through. Although Kirkside is already undergoing some construction changes as they convert the building to the Inn at Kirkside (something we are all looking forward to and support!), we can still use the first floor this year. This should make it a little easier for everyone, and we encourage businesses and organizations to have promotional materials on hand to share. We are hoping we can count on your help to make 2026 the best Soup & Sip yet!

Just as a reminder, we will be serving homemade soups paired with wines, and ending with a delicious dessert buffet.  Attendees will also be voting for best soups at the Kirkside Manor, with bragging rights going to the winners. We plan to serve a maximum of 14 soups. This year we are limiting the attendees to approximately 80, with tickets for sale at $50.00 per attendee. Tickets will be available online and in-person. We will also be including a raffle for a basket of local merchandise. This year the fundraiser will benefit The Roxbury Library.
