Donna Hitt's mother used to say they needed to be snowed on three times. Tuesday's few inches was the first time for this batch of daffodils in the town of Harpersfield, but Donna said it is the second time for her daffodils in Stamford. Spring is taking its time as we struggle with the up and down temperatures of the season.
