Garrett Dropp (pictured) had a standout performance on the mound for the Rams in a 4-0 win over Windham Ashland-Jewett Tuesday.

WINDHAM - Windham Ashland-Jewett (WAJ) fell 4-0 to the Rams Tuesday in the Delaware League. 

For South Kortright/Andes (SK/A), Garrett Dropp was in the spotlight on the mound executing 10 strike outs and not allowing a single earned run. 

Maggio relieved Dropp after five innings and struck out 4 batters, respectively. 

At the plate, Dropp went 4-for-4 in a showing which included a triple. Teammate Brayden Sparkes went 3-for-4, with a triple and a double. 

“It was an excellent defensive game.” Said SK/A Head Coach Bob VanValkenburgh, 

Jayden Palumbo took the mound for three innings for the home team, giving up three runs (two earned) in the loss. 

At the plate, Thomas Candreva went 2-for2 for WAJ.
