New Sharon Springs Free Library News from Director Emily Bond: Hello from the Sharon Springs Free Library! We’re excited to share a few updates and resources available to our community this week. At our computer stations, patrons will now find helpful pamphlets about artificial intelligence (AI). These guides offer a simple introduction to what AI is, how it’s being used today, and how to spot it. Feel free to pick one up during your visit and explore this rapidly evolving technology. Our book club this month features a flexible and engaging theme: historical reads. Participants are invited to choose their own book set in or about any historical period. Whether you enjoy fiction, biographies, or narrative nonfiction, this is a great opportunity to explore history in your own way. We’re also pleased to introduce the new Vega Discovery catalog system. If you need help navigating Vega, don’t hesitate to ask a library staff member—we’re happy to assist. As always, thank you for being part of our library community. We hope to see you soon! Warm regards, Sharon Springs Free Library. Regular hours are; Monday and Thursday 10 am-6 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 1-6 pm, and Saturday 10 am-1 pm. Storytime is on Thursdays from 10-11am and features themed stories, arts and crafts, and snacks.
