Big news from Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation!  SEEC is proud to announce the welcoming of  two accomplished professionals to their staff.  As  Director of Collective Impact, Billie-Joann Slingerland will be a senior strategic partner  to SEEC's Executive Director, focusing on Main Street Vitality, Industry Diversity and the Digital Revolution.  Congratulations and contact at email impact@seecny.org.  Jennifer Redmond, will be the Finance Associate.  Jennifer's background spans accounts payable and receivable banking and compliance  and much, much more.  Jennifer will  be a strong asset to SEEC.  Congratulations can be sent to finance@seecny.org for Jennifer.  SEEC works with local municipalities and institutional leaders with a goal of cultivating entrepreneurial endeavors and enhancing the power of local businesses and farms.  SEEC serves as a liaison to local municipalities and institutional leaders with the common goal of highlighting distinctive points of light within the community, cultivating entrepreneurial endeavors, and enhancing the ability of local businesses to add value to their enterprises.

May 1, 2026 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The  Institute for Rural Vitality welcomes its partner growers, producers and small businesses to the fourth annual Empire State Entrepreneur Expo.  The theme of this Expo is Taste, Try and Buy!  Don't  miss this showcase of homegrown innovation and community spirit.
