SCHOHARIE - The Schoharie Central School Environmental Stewards had the best time exploring the incredible landscapes of the American Southwest over spring break. From the ancient cliff dwellings of Montezuma Castle to visiting the telescope that discovered Pluto at Lowell Observatory, every day brought a new wonder.

They hiked the rim of the Grand Canyon, floated the waters around Horseshoe Bend, and squeezed through the sandstone walls of Antelope Canyon. We hit the trail on horseback, hiked to Observation Point, and finished strong in Zion National Park. The students had a hard time picking a favorite moment. Watching such a great group of students connect with and learn about our natural world in such extraordinary places was something really special.
