SCHOHARIE - Though the snow may cover the ground for weeks to come, Schoharie Central School is ready for the spring sports season.

SCS school board members approved a slate of spring coaches at their February meeting.

Appointed were:

* Eric Croote - Varsity Baseball Head Coach, at a stipend of  $3,410.

* Dan DeJong - JV Baseball Co-Coach, half-time, $1,085.

* Luis Toro - JV Baseball Co-Coach, half-time, $1,085.

* Shawn Gathen - Modified Baseball Head Coach, $1,750.

* Jason Ballard - Baseball Program Assistant, Volunteer.

* Greg Hotaling - Baseball Program Assistant, Volunteer.

* Ethan Drinon - Baseball Program Assistant, Volunteer.

* James Foland - Varsity Softball Head Coach, $3,260.

* Justin Maleszweski - JV Softball Head Coach, $2,410.

* Jody Marsh - Modified Softball Head Coach, $1,710.

* Bryan Whiting - Softball Program Assistant, Volunteer.

* Terry Minton, Softball Program Assistant, Volunteer.

* Steve Fagnani - Softball Program Assistant, Volunteer,

* Anthony Monescalchi - Boys Varsity Track Head Coach, $3,420.

* Sherry Hahn - Girls Varsity Track Head Coach, $2,950.

* Amy Thalheimer - Modified Track Head Coach, $1,550.

* Chris Kenny - Track Program Assistant, Volunteer.

* Jacqueline O'Rourke - Varsity Tennis Head Coach, $1,820.

* Stanley France - Varsity Tennis Assistant, Volunteer.

In addition, board members added Katie Reynolds to the list of High School Class/Club Advisors, as an assistant Musical Director, at a stipend of  $2,560 for the remainder of the school year.
