SCHOHARIE — The Schoharie boys basketball team defeated Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville 75-38 on Wednesday, led by 19 points each from Matthew Cater and Izaal Gagnon.

John Donzelli added 12 points for the Storm, who controlled the game from the opening tip. Schoharie jumped out to a 19-6 lead in the first quarter and held a 37-16 advantage at halftime before extending the margin with a 20-point third quarter.

Owen Linville led OESJ with 14 points, while Logan Snell added six.
