ROXBURY - The Roxbury Arts Group announces a new funding opportunity for Delaware County artists, schools and organizations, the 2026 Smart Energy Art Grant. This grant will support the creation of new artwork and public engagement in Delaware County under the theme Our Common Clean Energy Future, raising awareness of clean energy programs and empower residents to reduce their energy use and carbon footprint. $12,000 is available in grant allotments of $1,000-$4,000 to fund art projects that highlight clean energy and Smart Energy Choices.
Artworks must be the artist’s original art and can be in a variety of media. Artwork must include the theme of a clean energy future and include a plan to raise awareness of Smart Energy Choices and clean energy concepts in some way. The grant application will open on April 18th and close on May 29th. Granted projects will be notified in June and are to be completed by September 30th. Applications are available through Jotform. Link to the application and guidelines available at roxburyartsgroup.org/grants.
This grant is made possible by Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Smart Energy Choices program’s Regional Clean Energy Hub for the Southern Tier and is administered locally by the Roxbury Arts Group. Smart Energy Choices (smartenergychoices.org) serves eight counties in the Southern Tier region and is funded in part by NYSERDA’s Regional Clean Energy Hub Program.
All programs offered by the Roxbury Arts Group are supported by the A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation, the Robinson Broadhurst Foundation, The Community Foundation for South Central New York, the Tianaderrah Foundation, The Delaware National Bank of Delhi, and individual supporters.
