BLENHEIM — On April 6, around 4:14 p.m., deputies responded to Bear Ladder Road in the Town of Blenheim for a welfare check on a man who appeared intoxicated and possibly in need of help. While assisting him, deputies determined he was trespassing and had already been asked to leave but refused.
When deputies attempted to arrest him, he resisted and struggled during the process. The individual, Leland Neff, 72, of Blenheim, was charged with:
Resisting arrest (misdemeanor)
Trespass (violation)
Neff was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Blenheim Court at a later date.
