Carol A. Joslyn, of State Route 7, found eternal peace on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

She was born 83 years ago on May 31, 1942 in Middleburgh to Jessie B. (Van Aller) and George C. Bartholomew and graduated from Middleburgh Central School.

Carol's greatest love in life was her family.  Vacations, especially to Cape May, seeing her grandchildren growing up and sharing her love with her great-grandchildren brought her endless happiness.  Many will remember her from the years she worked in the office at Central Bridge Livestock and quiet moments found her in her garden, taking a peaceful walk and she was always ready for a good hand of cards.

Loving Carol forever are her daughters: Connie (Burke) Joslyn-Seim of Reisterstown, MD, Coreen (Paul) Chacho of Richmondville and Debra (Alan) Winslow, of Ballston Spa; her grandchildren: Alex (Analiese) Chacho, Cori ( Kyle Moore) Winslow, Devon Chacho, Kara Winslow, Callie Seim and Kate Seim; her great-grandchildren: Hadley and Hayden Chacho; her siblings: Joyce (Robert, Sr.) Roney of Middleburgh and Claude (Fannie) Bartholomew, of Middleburgh and many nieces and nephews.  Carol was predeceased by her brothers: Richard and George Bartholomew and her beloved pup, Molly.

All are invited to visit with Carol’s family from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh, NY.  A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM, immediately following the visitation.  Spring interment will be in Breakabeen Cemetery, Breakabeen, NY.

Carol’s family requests donations in her honor be sent to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092
