Barbara J. Eldred Eddy, age 82, passed away on March 2, 2026, at 3:24 p.m. in Catskill, New York. She was born on May 7, 1943.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Catherine Eldred, and eight of her nine sisters.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, soulmate and a great friend to many.

Barbara is survived by her son, Gerald “Scott” Eddy and his wife, Laurie; her granddaughter, Caury A. Eddy, and her soulmate, Brandon Baker, along with their son, Brandon Baker. She is also survived by her soulmate of 33 years, James W. Rose, his daughter, Mary Jane and her husband Chris Kelley and their family; his son, James Rose and his wife Jennifer and their family.

She is further survived by her sister, Julia (Judy) Legg and her husband Perry and their family, as well as many nieces and nephews, including special memories shared with Jeffrey Kulas and Kimberly Hathaway.

Barbara was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
