WALTON – Music on the Delaware is pleased to present Robin Seletsky & Friends at its February 15, Coffeehouse at the Walton Theatre.  Coffeehouse performances take place on the third Sunday of the month and are free.

This event will be an evening of jazz, blues, and a little klezmer featuring Robin Seletsky, Rob Hunt, Evan Jagels, and guest vocalist, Yolanda Bush.

Well known to area audiences, Robin, Evan, Rob and Yolanda have been sharing their music within our community for many years. Clarinetist Robin Seletsky recently retired as a longtime member of the Glimmerglass Opera Orchestra and the Catskill and Binghamton Symphony Orchestras. She now focuses primarily on Eastern European klezmer music and gypsy jazz and has a large online teaching studio. Pianist Rob Hunt is a versatile performer, fluent in jazz, blues, and pop styles. In addition to appearing regularly at many local venues, he was a Resident Artist at Hartwick College for many years. Evan Jagels is a bassist, composer and concert organizer, and performs locally with The Killdeer Trio among many other groups. Additionally, he holds a position as Lecturer of Music at Hartwick College. Yolanda Bush adds her signature soulful style and repertoire to the evening’s program.

Sunday’s concert is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the second floor of the theatre. Desserts and drinks will be available. Though open free to the public, donations to Music on the Delaware will be gratefully accepted.

Future coffeehouse events include Larry Jamieson & Terri Whitney on 3/15, Emily Hutchinson & Svetlana Garitselova on 4/19, and Loren Daniels Trio on 5/17. Other Music on the Delaware events can be found at www.musiconthedelaware.org.
