HAINES FALLS — The Mountain Top Historical Society (MTHS) has announced a series of guided birding walks on its campus, a site designated by the Department of Environmental Conservation as a premier location for birdwatching.

The programs will be led by Nancy Allen and are scheduled to take place on two upcoming Sundays: April 26 and May 31. On each date, two separate sessions will be offered, with one starting at 8:00 a.m. and a second at 5:00 p.m..

The MTHS campus is located at 5132 Route 23A in Haines Falls. As a DEC-designated birding site, the grounds provide a strategic vantage point for observing local avian species in the heart of the Catskills.

Organizers are requiring advance registration for those interested in attending. Prospective participants can register by emailing mthsdirector@mths.org or by calling 518-589-6657.
