CAIRO – Following additional information obtained during the Greene County Sheriff’s  Office investigation into the death of 3-year-old Fay Mohamed, the Sheriff’s Office  announces the arrest of Farhiya M. Gaal, 26-years-old, of Rochester, in  connection with the death of her daughter. Gaal was charged with Manslaughter in  the 2nd Degree (C Felony). Gaal was arraigned in front of Town of Cairo Court Judge  VanDenburgh and remanded to the Greene County Jail without bail.   Anyone with additional information is requested to contact the GCSO at 518- 943-3300.
