MIDDLEBURGH — At the Middleburgh Village Board Meeting this past Monday night, March 2nd, it wasn't "business as usual."  The meeting was well attended and the agenda touched upon a couple of Ribbon Cutting events and several local reports.

With the upcoming  75th Anniversary of the  Middleburgh Little League,  Stephanie Proctor, the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator for the Middleburgh Little League was given the floor.  

Proctor, a sharp and impressive businesswoman, related the plans to have an Oktoberfest-like event at Timothy Murphy Park on August 15th from 10am to 4pm to commemorate this milestone anniversary.

Permission was unanimously granted by the board for the use of the park for the whole day, as well as allowing an alcohol waiver.  It is the hope of all, that this will prove to be another Great Middleburgh Summertime Event.
