MARGARETVILLE — Margaretville Central School invites students, families, and community members to attend an upcoming event focused on post-secondary planning and community resources.

The event will take place on April 16 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and is designed to connect attendees with valuable opportunities and support systems that help students plan for life after high school.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with college and university representatives, explore career and technical training programs, and learn about a variety of available pathways. In addition, attendees can access information on mental health and wellness supports, volunteer opportunities, and special education services, including IEPs, transition planning, advocacy, and community-based resources.

The event will feature at least 15 agencies, businesses, and colleges, offering a wide range of information and resources for students and families. Those interested in attending can register using the QR code available on the district website at margaretvillecs.org.

Students in grades 9–12, along with parents/guardians, teachers, and community members, are encouraged to attend.

“Exploring different pathways and understanding the resources available is an essential part of preparing students for their future,” said Joy Holden. “This event provides a valuable opportunity for students and families to ask questions, make connections, and gain a clearer sense of the many options that exist after high school. By working together and accessing these supports, we can help ensure every student feels confident and prepared for the next step in their journey.”

Margaretville Central School looks forward to welcoming the community for an informative and engaging evening dedicated to supporting student success and future planning.
