MARGARETVILLE — Margaretville Central School District is proud to announce that Board of Education President Doris Warner has been selected as a recipient of the Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA) Excellence in School Board Services Award.
This prestigious recognition honors school board members who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to ensuring students have access to high-quality educational experiences and meaningful opportunities for growth and enrichment. Warner was nominated for the award by Superintendent Michelle Osterhoudt in recognition of her steadfast leadership, advocacy for students, and dedication to the Margaretville school community.
“Doris leads with integrity, heart, and an unrelenting focus on what is best for our students,” said Superintendent Osterhoudt. “Her commitment to public education and her ability to lead thoughtfully through both challenges and opportunities make her truly deserving of this honor.”
When asked about the recognition, Warner shared that she is “humbled and honored” to receive the award.
Warner will be formally recognized at the CASDA Annual Awards and Friends of Education Celebration on Thursday, April 30, at Duo at the Dunes in Albany, New York. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony to follow at 7:15 p.m. The evening will also celebrate educators and community members who have made significant contributions as Friends of Education.
