MARGARETVILLE – The Margaretville Maniacs Girls Varsity Indoor Soccer Team was busy during the month of March.  The Maniacs played in the Milford Class of 2026 Futsal Tournament on Saturday March 7th and after advancing to the playoffs with a record of 2 Wins 1 Loss and 1 Tie the team lost in the playoffs 3-2 to finish in 3rd place.  The Maniacs played in the Worcester Yearbook Annual Futsal Tournament on Saturday March 21 and after advancing to the playoffs with a record of 2 Wins and 1 Tie the Maniacs advanced to the Championship game with a 3-0 win in the first round of the playoffs.  The Maniacs lost the Championship game in a hard-fought thrilling 1-0 game to the tough Franklin team they tied during the round robin play.  The girls played excellent team soccer throughout the Tournaments with everyone contributing to the team’s success.
