BOVINA — Join us for an imaginative, hands-on workshop exploring the art of animal sculpture in wire.

Artist Gary Mayer will guide participants in creating expressive animal forms using a thin, highly malleable wire that’s easy to shape and surprisingly versatile. Working with simple lines and gestures, you’ll learn how to build recognizable forms using basic shapes and movement.

Your sculpture can be humorous, fun or serious. The beauty of wire is that results come quickly, and creativity can take unexpected turns.

No prior experience is necessary. This workshop is open to beginners and seasoned makers alike.

All materials will be provided. Voluntary cash donations to benefit the library are welcome.
