MIDDLEBURGH - The Village of Middleburgh earlier this month agreed to buy a used truck from MIDTEL to replace an older model.
At their April meeting, village board members voted to purchase a 2001 Ford bucket truck for $5,000. It will replace a van that had been donated by MIDTEL years ago that is no longer running. The price was very reasonable, village officials said.
The truck will be used to put up Christmas lights, trim trees, and other similar uses.
