MIDDLEBURGH - Middleburgh's popular Everything Shoppe opened a new location down Main Street on April 1.
The Everything Shoppe, run by the Council of Senior Citizens of Schoharie County, moved down Main Street from its old location in the former pharmacy/five and dime building to 322 Main Street, the former location of Solo's Music. The Everything Shoppe had been located at the former location for several years.
They will be holding a Grand Re-opening Celebration in April with some surprises planned.
They thanked everyone for their support of the Shoppe. They said that "every purchase helps support the mission of our Gathering Place Centers and the older adults we serve throughout our community. We are so grateful for our loyal customers."
It is expected that the Ole Bar and Grill, currently at the former library at the corner of Wells Avenue and Main Street, is moving to the current location of the Everything Shoppe. Both buildings are owned by the same person.
Ole has been located in the former library for about two years. The future of the current Ole location is not known.
