MIDDLEBURGH - Middleburgh's popular Everything Shoppe will be moving down Main Street starting April 1.
The Everything Shoppe, run by the Council of Senior Citizens of Schoharie County, is moving down Main Street from its current location to 322 Main Street, the former location of Solo's Music. The Everything Shoppe has been located at the former location of the Valley Pharmacy and the 5&10, for several years.
Everything Shoppe personnel announced that during March, they will be "carefully moving into our brand-new, modernized shoppe." The officials opening of the new location will be Wednesday, April 1.
They will remain open in their current location through the end of March while they transition to the new spot, without interruption, officials said.
They will be holding a Grand Re-opening Celebration in April with some surprises planned.
They thanked everyone for their support of the Shoppe.
They said that "every purchase helps support the mission of our Gathering Place Centers and the older adults we serve throughout our community. We are so grateful for our loyal customers and can't wait to welcome you into our new space."
It is expected that the Olé Bar and Grill, currently at the former library at the corner of Wells Avenue and Main Street, is moving to the current location of the Everything Shoppe. Both buildings are owned by the same person.
Olé has been located in the former library for about two years. The future of the current Olé location remains to be seen.
