Red and White “Mini Wheel” Quilt

Brass Knobs and Lock, 18th Century

 From the house of John Snyder aka “Schoharie John”,  which was located up Gallupville Road. Snyder was captured by the British and taken to Canada in 1782. He subsequently enlisted in the British Army seeking an opportunity to escape. He was later able to return to Schoharie.
