HOBART—The Hobart Community Alliance (HCA) invites all residents and neighbors to roll up their sleeves for the first annual Village Spring Clean-Up on Sunday, April 19th.
Volunteers will gather from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM to pick up litter, rubbish, and winter debris from our village streets, parks, and the local portion of the Catskill Scenic Trail. Please note that the clean-up will not extend out onto Route 10.
"Please note that we will not be going out onto Route 10, which is typically cleaned up each Spring by Hobart Rotary Club working in conjunction with NYS DOT," Hobart Community Alliance Coordinator Julie Rockefeller said at a recent HBA meeting, praising the Rotary for its long-time efforts.
Gloves, bags, and litter sticks will be provided to all participants. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the start of spring in the Great Western Catskills while keeping your community beautiful.
"Refreshments after the clean-up" Julie reminded everyone before the meeting was adjourned.
