SOUTH KORTRIGHT - The South Kortright girls varsity defeated Gilboa-Conesville-Roxbury (GC-R) 49-17 Tuesday in Delaware League hoop action.

Alyssa Tucker dropped 12 points for the Rams, while teammates Carly Dropp and Kennedy Quarino netted 10 apiece. Nora Trimbell and Lexi Hendrickson (10 steals) tallied 6 each.

For GC-R, Emily Maxim had six points, while Jacey O’Donnell needed five points in the loss.

“It’s fun to watch this team come together as the season progresses,” said SK Coach Josh Burroughs of his squad. “Tonight I thought the girls moved the ball well and were active on the defensive end.  They’re learning how to play together and their confidence continues to grow.”
