MIDDLEBURGH — On March 5, at a special exemplification ceremony, honoring blessed Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus (KOC), Council 4475 of Middleburgh welcomed two new members. After receiving instruction on the principles of the KOC: charity, fraternity and unity, Matthew Usuriello and James Eak promised to uphold these principles.  Grand Knight  Kevin Koller accepted their pledge.

Council 4475 members are frequently seen in the local community, participating with Middleburgh Rotary‘s fall festival, Miracle on Main Street activities, in addition to providing financial support to the Joshua Project of Schoharie County, the Special Olympics, and to our local Scouting America units and Catholic Seminarians.

Catholic men are invited to participate in meetings of Council 4475 at our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church located in Middleburgh.   Council 4475 meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7 PM.   For more information, contact our Lady of the valley Catholic Church or follow their page on Facebook
