SCHOHARIE - The Old Stone Fort Museum is excited to announce an upcoming Junior Explorers program focused on the wonders of farms and gardens. Designed for young learners, this hands-on experience will give children the opportunity to explore where food comes from and how plants grow while engaging their curiosity and creativity.
During the program, participants will dig, plant, and tend to seeds, discovering how soil, sunlight, and water help plants thrive. Along the way, they will learn about the history of farming, develop a deeper appreciation for nature, and experience the joy of growing their own little garden creations.
