CATSKILL – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Catskill Central School District, in coordination  with local and county emergency responders, will be conducting a joint active shooter training  drill on Friday, March 13, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

This drill will take place at Catskill Elementary School and is part of Law Enforcement  and the School District’s ongoing commitment to school safety and emergency preparedness.  

Residents may notice an increased presence of police, fire, and EMS vehicles in the area,  along with the use of emergency lights and sirens. This is only a training exercise — there is  no cause for alarm.
