Members spoke about challenges associated with snow cleanup in the Village, particularly on Main Street (Route 10). Snow pushed into hard, solid banks in front of doorways and steps make shoveling difficult, especially for the elderly. 

The Village Board, led by the Planning Board, has announced that work will soon begin to update the Comprehensive Plan. Most HCA members were not Hobart residents in 2004. The group is taking steps to familiarize itself with the existing plan and is looking forward to helping shape the new plan.
