Powder Horn

Powder horns carried black powder for flintlock muskets, the standard weapon of the Revolutionary War. A small amount primed the pan for ignition, while the rest poured down the barrel with the musket ball. Many horns featured carved maps or personal designs.


Sausage Stuffer

Most people say they don't want to know how sausage gets made, but we are not most people. This tin tube sausage stuffer, paired with a wooden plunger, shows the process up close. Ground, seasoned meat filled the tube, and the plunger pushed it steadily into casings.
