DELHI – Delaware County District Attorney Shawn J. Smith announced that Wayne Cirigliano, 33, of Sidney, pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree and one count of Bail Jumping.

Cirigliano appeared in Village of Sidney Court before the Honorable Judge Andrew Skrobanski on March 31, 2026. ADA Susan Mallery prosecuted the case for the District Attorney’s Office.

Cirigliano was sentenced to 5 months’ incarceration for the Criminal Mischief and 5 months’ incarceration for Bail Jumping. The sentences will run concurrently.

Additionally, Cirigliano was ordered to pay $200 in restitution for damage caused at Circle Drive Apartments in Sidney. He was also assessed $255 in fines and fees.

In November of 2025, Cirigliano damaged property at the home of a resident of the Circle Drive Apartments by pushing in a window air conditioning unit and then needlessly discharging a fire extinguisher into their home. The fire extinguisher was also discharged onto their vehicle.

DA Shawn Smith thanked Officer Royce Terry and the Village of Sidney Police Department for their work on the case.
