CATSKILL — The Greene County Youth Advisory Board is officially accepting nominations for the 2026 Adult Service-to-Youth Award. The annual honor recognizes an outstanding adult volunteer who serves as a positive role model and demonstrates a profound commitment to improving the lives of local young people.

To be eligible, nominees must reside in Greene County and dedicate their time, energy, and heart to youth-focused initiatives. The board is looking for individuals who go above and beyond to uplift the community's youth through direct service, mentorship, or advocacy.

According to the Youth Advisory Board, potential nominees may include those who:

Work directly with youth in public or private organizations.

Volunteer through religious youth programs or community groups.

Advocate for expanded youth services within the county.

Provide meaningful guidance, support, or mentoring to children.

Community members who know an adult deserving of this recognition are encouraged to submit a formal nomination. The application deadline for the 2026 award is May 26, 2026.
