DELHI — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of a Grand Gorge man.

On April 3rd, 2026, Investigators with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division were notified by Correctional Facility Staff that an incarcerated individual had received threatening messages via electronic means.

A subsequent investigation into the complaint found that 22-year-old Gage J. Johnson, of Grand Gorge, had sent multiple threats of bodily harm via an electronic device.

Investigators subsequently arrested Johnson on one count of Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a class A misdemeanor in violation of the NYS Penal Law.

Johnson was arraigned at the Delaware County Centralized Arraignment Part Court where an order of protection was issued to the victim.  Johnson was released on his own recognizance and was directed to return to the Town of Delhi Court at a later date to answer the charge.
