SOUTH KORTRIGHT — The Delaware League had their 2025-26 JV Girls and Boys Basketball Championships at South Kortright Central School.  In the girls championship game, the #2 seed Gilboa Conesville/Roxbury Merged Team defeated the #1 seed Stamford/Jefferson Merged Team by a score of 39-29.  Top scorers for Gilboa Conesville/Roxbury were Madi Goodchild with 14 points and Addison Bruck with 10 points.  Leading the way for Stamford/Jefferson was Hailee Van Zandt with 11 points.  In the boys championship game, the #1 seed Gilboa Conesville/Roxbury Merged Team defeated the #2 seed Jefferson/Stamford Merged Team by a score of 47-45.  Top scorers for Gilboa Conesville/Roxbury were Preston Bruck with 12 points and William Proudman with 10 points.  Leading the way for Jefferson/Stamford were Will Eklund with 16 points and with 8 points each were George Nebesnik and Levi Hendrickson.  Congrats everyone on a great season!!!
