EAST MEREDITH — The acclaimed performer Julian Fleisher has announced two upcoming musical events in May, featuring photography by renowned photographer Rob Howard.
Love Songs for the End of the World
On Thursday, May 14, at 7:00 PM, Fleisher will bring his "Rather Big Band" to Joe’s Pub in New York City. Titled Love Songs for the End of the World, the performance is described as a blend of nightclub act and "emotional lifeboat," featuring a repertoire of dark romantic songs, wry reflections, and sing-alongs. Reservations are available through the venue's ticketing system.
In Concert at The West Kortright Center
Following the city performance, Fleisher will travel to the Catskills for a concert on Saturday, May 16, at 7:00 PM at the West Kortright Center. Located in the "Lost County" of Delaware, the venue is a converted church situated in a bucolic valley setting. This performance marks the first collaboration between Fleisher and the historic venue. Tickets and reservations for the Upstate show can be secured through the center's website.
