CATSKILL — A schedule of events for U.S. veterans and current military personnel has been announced for February throughout Greene County, featuring ceremonies, meetings, and social gatherings.
The month begins with Four Chaplains' Day ceremonies on Sunday, Feb. 1. The first service will be held at 9 a.m. at the Athens American Legion, followed by a second ceremony at 6 p.m. at the Greenville American Legion.
Several organizational meetings are scheduled for the first week of the month. The American Legion Riders will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Greenville American Legion. On Thursday, Feb. 5, the Catskill American Legion will meet at the Elks Lodge at 7 p.m., while the Greenville American Legion will hold its meeting at the same time.
Social events include BINGO at the Windham VFW at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, and again on Thursday, Feb. 19. The Athens Legion Hall will host Irish music at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6. A spaghetti dinner is planned for Friday, Feb. 13, running from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Greenville American Legion.

Friday, Feb. 20: Greene County American Legion at the Town of Coxsackie Senior Center, 6 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 21: Catskill VFW, 11 a.m.
