MARGARETVILLE — Ready for sunshine and flowers? The Fairview Public Library invites community members to welcome the season at a FREE Paint & Sip event on March 27 from 5:00–7:00 PM at the library, located at 43 Walnut Street, Margaretville.

This fun and relaxed evening will celebrate creativity, community, and the arrival of spring. Participants of all skill levels are encouraged to attend—no prior painting experience is necessary. A library staff member will guide attendees step-by-step through creating a beautiful floral painting. While instruction will be provided, each participant will create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece in their own personal style.

Complimentary snacks and bottled water will be available. Attendees are welcome to bring a beverage of their choice (BYOB). Guests who choose to bring wine or other alcoholic beverages are kindly reminded to arrange for a designated driver.

The event is designed to offer a welcoming space for community members to socialize, unwind, and express their creativity in a supportive environment.

RSVP by midday on March 20 to ensure adequate supplies are available. Reservations may be made by:

  • Calling 845-586-3791
  • Emailing Director@fairviewlibrary.org
  • Sending a private message via the library’s official Facebook page (please confirm it is Fairview Public Library in Margaretville).

Donations to support library programming are welcome.
