MARGARETEVILLE — Fairview Public Library is inviting community members to lend a hand in preparation for its upcoming Plant and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The library is currently seeking donations of plants, pots, and gardening-related items, as well as baked goods for the accompanying bake sale. Community contributions play an important role in making this event a success and help support library programs and services.

Non-plant items may be dropped off at the library at any time. Those interested in donating plants are asked to call the library in advance at 845-586-3791 to provide their name, email, phone number, and a brief description of what they plan to contribute. For those in need of pots, the library may be able to assist.

Plant donations can be dropped off at the library the day before the sale. Donors are encouraged to label all plants and, if possible, include descriptions and care instructions to help buyers.

The library is also welcoming donations of baked goods. Items for the bake sale may be dropped off either the day before or the day of the event.

Fairview Public Library thanks the community for its continued support and generosity and looks forward to a successful and enjoyable event.

For more information or to coordinate a donation, please call 845-586-3791.
