CAIRO — On the eve of the ballot petitioning season, the Finneran for Assembly committee announces with delight that, with the endorsement by William Reinhardt, environmentalist and Albany County Legislator, the campaign now has eight endorsements.   Reinhardt  joins other Albany County current and past legislators ,  Merton Simpson and Doug Bullock who earlier endorsed candidate Mary Finneran. Finneran is running for the  AD102 seat left vacant by Chris Tague in his quest for a senate seat.  

She has also been endorsed by the Cairo Democratic Committee and former Cairo Town Supervisor, Ted Banta III.  Other endorsers include the NY Progressive Action Network (NYPAN), and the upstate chapter of Third Act. (Climate organizer Bill McKibben's organization). 

Reinhardt was happy to endorse Mary Finneran, saying "We need more Progressive voices in the Assembly."
